Alex B asked:

I graduated last year with a BS in Environmental Sciences. I have plans in the future to attend Grad school but in the mean time I wanted to earn some money. Concurrently I was wondering if I took a few courses within my intended master’s field in getting a graduation certificate online if that would influence a decision into entering a grad school into the future. The credits I earn for this certificate would not be transferrable.

I’d not waste time or money with anything that was not transferable. Talk to the advisors at your favorite grad school and ask them about timetables for graduation. You could save lots of money if you could stay in student housing and work part time.
